Side Tapped Rack Rail
Our custom 10-32 threaded rack rail is engineered to simplify rack assembly and adjustment. Unlike traditional rack rails that require separate 10-32 nylon locking nuts, these rails feature specially tapped side mounting holes that allow the rail to be securely mounted directly to the rack structure.
This design makes rack configuration significantly faster and cleaner, especially when adjusting rack rail depth. Instead of removing installed equipment to access hidden hardware or replace cage nuts, the rails can be repositioned quickly from the side, reducing downtime and simplifying field adjustments.
Our custom 10-32 threaded rack rail is specifically designed for use in the TraceRack™ 35 and TraceRack™ 37 fly racks, while remaining fully compatible with a wide range of other rack systems and custom enclosures.
Rack rails are sold individually rather than in pairs, allowing you to purchase exactly the quantity needed for your specific rack configuration or replacement application.
We recommend purchasing our Hardware Refresh Kit with nylon-treated screws for proper installation and optimal performance of the side-tapped rack rail. The specialized nylon thread treatment helps prevent screws from vibrating loose and backing out over time, ensuring a more secure and reliable rack assembly — especially in mobile and touring applications.
